This professional development session will provide K–2 teachers with practical strategies for planning and managing effective literacy stations and independent learning activities. Participants will explore examples of rotation schedules and grouping structures, while learning how to build flexibility into their routines to meet the diverse needs of students. The session will focus on creating engaging, meaningful tasks that promote independence, reinforce literacy skills, and maximize instructional time. Teachers will also discuss the importance of intentional planning, clear routines and expectations, and student accountability to support successful station rotations and productive learning environments.
